Paul Haggar didn't grow up racing, but when a friend introduced him to vintage racing 2 years ago, he was hooked. Racing Formula Ford and later his Chevron B23 with CVAR vintage racing. His car collection also includes a 1970 Brabham BT29, 1982 Ralt RT4 Race, Ferrari 360 Spider, and a 1966 Series 1 Jaguar E-Type.
The Chevron, chassis number B23-73-19 is equipped with a Cosworth 2.0 liter-4 cylinder with Lucas Mechanical fuel injection. The car was originally campaigned by famed Japanese driver Hiroshi Kazato winning the 1973 Fuji 250, and taking second in the 1973 Fuji 200. The car has been fully restored to its original 1973 livery and has raced at prestigious events like the Rolex Monterey reunion and CVAR races across Texas.
