With the developments over the last several weeks and after consulting with our state and local authorities, the management team of the Groesbeck Grand Prix has decided to move forward with our fall dates for the inaugural running of the Groesbeck Grand Prix Festival of Motoring.

Scheduled to take place on September 5th-6th, the Groesbeck Grand Prix is an event like no other allowing spectators to not only see Pebble Beach winning Concours cars, but also witness historic vehicles at speed as drivers from across the country race against the clock in a 1.5-mile time trial. All set against the dramatic backdrop of the historic pioneer-era Fort Parker restoration.

Throughout the rest of the weekend, the guests will be able to enjoy local vendors, food trucks, and the car club showcase which will feature a variety of cars from clubs across Texas. The weekend-long event offers camping, entertainment, recreation, and period vehicles recreating a bygone era. Spectators are encouraged to make a weekend of it, with tent and RV camping available on site.

Michael Satterfield event founder commented: "This event is focused on celebrating the history motoring, showcasing cars the way they were meant to be seen, at speed. This spectator-friendly event is designed to offer something for everyone at a truly unique venue."
