The entire team is disappointed that we will not be returning to Old Fort Parker for the 2021 edition of the Groesbeck Grand Prix, due to circumstances outside of our control. After months of working behind the scenes, we finally made the decision to seek another venue. The safety and comfort of our drivers, spectators, and volunteers is our number one priority and unfortunately, without major changes by the venue, we don't believe we can provide the level of service and safety that we strive for.
We have been getting lots of questions about when registration for the event would open and this issue with the venue is why we have been delayed. We are currently exploring alternative locations in the area and will be sending out an updated announcement in the coming weeks when and if an appropriate venue is secured.
We will also be doing some smaller events through the Groesbeck Sports Car Club, so look for announcements on that this summer.
Thank you all again for making last year such an amazing event and we are still hoping to find a great location for 2021, even though time is running out.
